Integrity and success

I was watching a movie last night and never thought I would have obtained the message I did from it. The movie I watched was a comedy called "Daddy Daycare". In this movie he was a very well off business man and like most business men he was rarely at home. Well he was fired from his job and could not find a job in his field of work near by. He had a 4 year old child and a wife who also worked. In this movie to stay from going bankrupt he started a daycare facility in his own house. He swallowed his pride and was making money the only way he could while watching his child at the same time. The day care facility was a huge hit and business was very well. Later he got a call back for his job at better pay than what he started with. But in the end he couldn't take the job because he couldn't turn his back on his son and all the other children he had made a connection with. I believe that speaks for personal integrity over success. Yes the daycare made him money but not as much as his business raise would have. But at the end of it all his integrity overpowered his financial success and that is something I agree firmly with.

Show-Off

Show off- According to google the actual definition is "make a deliberate or pretentious display of one's abilities or accomplishments." To expand that definition a little more in depth. A show off is some one who boast about themselves. The ability to preform something at a higher level than others and makes sure everyone else knows about it. One who makes themselves and there skills the center off attention at all cost. A showoff gets on peoples nerves, no one likes a show off.

Collection

People collect things like beer mugs, ceramic dolls, and owls because its considered memorabilia. Me personally me and a few of my closest friends have a collection of liquor bottles and we quit often catch ourselves reminiscing about. I believe people collect mostly anything for the same reasoning. For the ability to contain a memory within an object. An example would be the first bottle we ever decided to keep was a cheap bottle of dragon berry Bacardi Rum. It didn't taste all that well and no it wasn't expensive but it is priceless to us for the simple fact that we have around 50 bottles in our collection, and yes many are more valuable but that specific one of a beginning of something bigger.

I dont do this for those reasons

So many people nowadays are in a relationship for all the wrong reasons. Me personally I can truly say im not in a relationship specifically for those reasons. No, I am not in a relationship to blast it all over Facebook and Instagram. Again no I am not with her for the reason of physical intimacy or to feel like im not alone. To feel as I have a companion who I can depend on would catch a lot of couples attention but yet no not me. I'm not in a relationship to boast and brag about all the little things she does for me or how happy she makes me to others. I'm not with her to rub it in others face and say my relationship is so much better than yours or to make others jealous. No, I am in a relationship with her for the simple heart piercing reason that I am head over heels in love with her.

Abstract

          It feels like my entire life Ive been slightly "different". As a child i always wore things other kids didn't tend to wear. For instance as a child I use to wear neon pink Chuck Taylor's to play basketball in. Also I was always wearing abstract clothing that was slightly different than the other kids. My old coach as a child use to call me "Hollywood" because I was always the flashy one of the group.
         As I got older and was starting high school I still had my abstract mindset. Always had miss mate socks that were extremely different as well as clothing. But in the last few years it seams that now that is the normal trend and Ive never been one to stay in the usual realm of things. Lately Ive been more laid back about things starting to become more casual with my clothing for the main reason that everyone tries to hard to stand out so now it is honestly more appealing to me not to stand out and do what Ive always done and be myself. But yet I will always be slightly different for example I'm getting cornrows as soon as my hair gets long enough lol.
